Why Revelstoke? Apart from the huge snowfall records, it is praised by the locals as the world capital of heliskiing – and there is no joke in this phrase at all. Numerous heli- and catskiing operations are located in the Revelstoke itself and on top of that there is also a very much freeride oriented ski resort located in close proximity to the town.
