We studied the weather forecast meticulously because we really needed perfect weather for the Cineflex shoot. The helicopter with the camera was supposed to fly from Whitehorse and we wanted to meet the heli at the filming location. The only problem was that we did not have the exact GPS coordinates from that place. The plan was that the athletes (plus Leo and I) go first and when we have found it we should give them a call providing exact coordinates. Our heli was fully loaded and the pilot tried to save fuel on the way there. Finding the place was not easy at all, but we managed to do so! Our helicopter landed in front of these huge mountains and instantly we gave the second heli a call.
Everyone was ready for going big today. Ralf was the first one who should ride and he chose a really beautiful line. It was a really long chute through two granite towers and he absolutely killed it skiing down! He was going super fast, we could even hear Eric, who was filming from the helicopter, shouting. Sam also found an interesting exposed line and he skied it like a boss – again. Hadley also kept up with the boys, so it seemed we had great footage. Now the team was on fire and they pushed it really hard. Everyone was going big but still safe and this was really professional!
