Base Camp

Peter picked me up from the airport at Whitehorse and during the next two days we were organizing everything for the camp, which was loads of work. We drove all the way up to the Alaska Highway and stopped at Haines Pass near the landing strip. The landscape was absolutely amazing. That black road led through the white nature with all its beautiful mountains. Next to the highway we set up the camp and I must say it turned out pretty fancy. We got a big wall tent with a kitchen, a couch, a flatscreen TV and wood burning stove inside. As for a camp in the middle of nowhere, I think we had more than we needed.
