Excellent, and above all, stable snow conditions, plenty of sun and numerous – though requiring some planning – lines, all this meant that for the next three days we skied almost everything that was available in this area. Fabian found two great, extremely fast lines in a very ambitious terrain, and the numerous rocks and ice did not impress a skier of this class much. With a mixture of fear and admiration, we watched as our friend covered several hundred meters of elevation in a beautiful, spectacular style in just a few seconds. Joi decided to choose a more technical line – his descent took place in very exposed terrain and after making a few turns, he had to skillfully share the space on which he was skiing with a large amount of sliding snow. In this case, he allowed the snow to reach the base of the slope first, and getting to “finish line” second was a very reasonable decision.
